Our Team

Stella is Belle’s mum and chairperson for the charity. She works tirelessly for Belle’s Story, overseeing everything and participating in almost every wild and wonderful fundraising event! Stella organises all key events, liaises with the trustees, the Team Belle volunteers and other organisations and, most importantly, actions every single magical dream granted by the charity. Stella always has one thing in mind - what would Belle do? And this inspires every decision she makes for the charity.

Sophie manages the admin and marketing for Belle’s Story and was one of our founding trustees. She first met Belle in the summer of 2011. Sophie has always been involved with Belle’s Story, since the earliest days when Belle herself was involved with fundraising and key events. From abseiling a castle keep, to cycling and running races (she even stripped off for our charity calendar) Sophie will do most things for Belle’s Story! She helped to register the charity in 2019 and plans to be a lifetime member of Team Belle.

A proud trustee of Belle’s Story, having first become involved as Belle’s home tutor and a close friend of the family. Her connection to the charity is deeply personal, and she loves supporting its mission through fundraising events – especially physical challenges that bring people together for a great cause. Sarah is also passionate about education and enjoy sharing Belle’s book My Engine Parts/ Rhannau Fy Injan in primary schools, inspiring children through Belle’s story to learn, grow, and show kindness.

Cathryn is a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the Belle’s Story team, always eager to lend a hand at events. Her connection to the charity runs deep as her late father, Paul Nicholas, was Belle’s Godfather and a passionate advocate for raising awareness and support for Belle's Story and organ donation. One of Cathryn’s most memorable moments was in 2018, when she braved the rain with a team of other volunteers to abseil down Pembroke Castle, all in aid of Belle’s Story.

Julie is the Secretary for Belle’s Story and handles all the merchandise orders as well as anything else that is required - she works incredibly hard for the charity. Julie was Belle’s childminder and has been an active member of the charity long before she became our secretary. You can see her at most of our charity events and she’s always behind the scenes, keeping us organised - she’s a a key member of Team Belle and is always finding new opportunities for the charity.
